Liverpool: A Sense of Time and Place ConferencePosted: June 11, 2007
I’ve just received the final programme for the Liverpool: A Sense of Time and Place conference organised by the Liverpool Culture Company. It will take place on Friday and Saturday the 14th and 15th of September. I will be giving a paper on “Robert Cain: Irish Slummy, Gentleman Brewer” on Friday afternoon in the session on “Irish/Catholic Identities”. The conference takes place at St. George’s Hall, one of Liverpool’s landmark Victorian buildings and runs alongside a major local history fair.
Conference tickets, which include entry to the history fair, are £30 or £75 including the conference dinner.
